Chartered in 1917, the American Red Cross of Augusta provides direct service to Baldwin, Burke, Columbia, Emanuel, Glascock, Hancock, Jasper, Jefferson, Jenkins, Johnson, Jones, Lincoln, McDuffie, Putnam, Richmond, Screven, Taliaferro, Treutlen, Twiggs, Warren, Washington, Wilkes, and Wilkinson counties. We’re in our local communities every day, helping people prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies. When a disaster threatens or strikes, the Red Cross provides onsite and follows up assistance helping clients with a place to stay, food emotional support, comfort items and clean up kits.
