The Blue Ridge Piedmont Chapter serves a population of more than 935 thousand people within the counties of Alleghany, Alexander, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Lincoln, Watauga and Wilkes. American Red Cross NC Region – Blue Ridge Piedmont provides disaster relief, blood donation services, health and safety training (CPR/first aid), services to the armed forces, and international humanitarian support.
