The American Red Cross of Southwest Georgia serves the counties of Baker, Calhoun, Chattahoochee, Clay, Crisp, Decatur, Dougherty, Early, Grady, Lee, Marion, Miller, Mitchell, Muscogee, Quitman, Randolph, Schley, Seminole, Stewart, Sumter, Terrell, Turner, Webster, and Worth. The American Red Cross – Southwest Georgia chapter provides local disaster relief, home fire safety campaigns (including free smoke alarm installations), health and safety classes like CPR and first aid, blood donation coordination, services to the armed forces, and international tracing services.
