Capital Area Community Action Agency, Inc. (CACAA)

CACAA is a private, non-profit agency serving low-income families in 8 counties in the Big Bend region. The CACAA’s Mission is to provide a comprehensive, seamless system of services and resources to reduce the detrimental effects of poverty, empower low-income citizens with skills and motivation to become self-sufficient, and improve the overall quality of their lives, and the community.  The CACAA has programs for crisis/emergency assistance, weatherization, anti-poverty workshops, and Head Start for preschool-aged children.
