Charlotte County Homeless Coalition

The Charlotte CARE Center, formerly the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition, not only provides emergency services such as shelter and food to hundreds of people a year, but it also works with families to secure more financially stable futures. The Homeless Coalition sees a future community free of hunger and homelessness for families, veterans, seniors, etc. We not only provide emergency shelter and food, but also assistance with utilities, rent & mortgage, transportation, employment, navigating government programs and securing the necessary IDs for employment and a thrift store. Homeless Coalition aims to keep families & children housed before they become homeless. Prevention funding helps families give them an opportunity to stay on their feet.
