Volunteers of America (VOA) believe in helping all people reach their full potential. VOA is a national, faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those in need live healthy, safe, and productive lives. Through thousands of human services programs, including housing and healthcare services, VOA helps thousands throughout Ohio and Indiana. VOA operates Crossroads Shelter in Sandusky which provides services to veterans. Also offers temporary and emergency housing, affordable housing solutions, and mental health and disability housing for those in need, and a Food Pantry.
