Mountain Gateway Community College

Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) offers a variety of academic and workforce programs, including associate degrees for university transfer, technical and career studies certificates, and customized workforce training. Students can enroll in on-campus and online courses across fields like business, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and education. The college also provides student support services, extracurricular activities, and community education programs. Mountain Gateway Community College – Rockbridge Regional Center is a two-year public institution of higher education and one of 23 community colleges in Virginia. The college is supported by the Commonwealth of Virginia; the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Northern Botetourt, and Rockbridge; the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, and Lexington. The Rockbridge Regional Center is an integral part of the Rockbridge community. The Center hosts a variety of day and night courses, both credit and non-credit, each semester. The RRC houses the Culinary Arts, Massage Therapy, and Licensed Practical Nursing programs.
