The mission of Feeding the Valley is to gather food to feed the hungry with a spirit of compassion, good stewardship, dedication, urgency and inclusiveness. The heart of our mission is to feed hungry people. Serving 17 counties in Georgia and one county in Alabama, our service area covers 6,200 square miles and a population of 550,000 of which approximately 115,000 people are considered food insecure*.
