Garner Area Ministries

At Garner Area Ministries (GAM), you are our mission. Founded in 1981 by a group of compassionate local churches, our organization was created to serve as a central resource for neighbors experiencing financial hardship. We provide support for rent, utilities, and prescription costs, as well as clothing and food for families in need. Garner Area Ministries (GAM) serves those in need in the general Garner area, which includes some parts of Johnston County that share a Garner postal address, but their primary focus is on Wake County residents, offering food, thrift store goods, and some financial help to those in their service area, regardless of background.
