GriefShare

GriefShare is a faith-based, Christ-centered program that provides a safe and welcoming environment for people coping with the death of a loved one, miscarriage, or other significant losses. It is designed to help participants understand the unpredictable nature of grief, learn coping strategies, and gain emotional support from others who have experienced similar losses. GriefShare is not limited to North Carolina. It is an international, faith-based network with thousands of support groups meeting weekly across the United States and worldwide. While they have many locations in NC, they operate in all 50 states, including California, Texas, Florida, and New York. For most groups, the cost ranges from free to around $20 to cover the cost of your participant guide. Contact the church that is hosting a group near you (or online) to find out.
