Our mission is to promote the equal application of justice and remove impediments to fairness for the low-income and vulnerable families of eastern Virginia. All Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia lobbies are closed to the public due to precautions around the COVID-19 Coronavirus.  No walk-in applications are being taken and our lobbies are closed to the public.  If you are interested in applying for services, you may contact our Central Intake Unit by phone, or you may apply online. The Norfolk office is open to the public. The Hampton and Eastern Shore offices remain by appointment only. See website for more information and additional locations.
