Opportunity House – Day Shelter

At Opportunity House, each guest will have access to our clothing closet to receive adequate clothing for each season (winter, spring, summer, fall); access to free washing and drying machines to keep clean clothes; toiletries like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and personal hygiene items; and access to full bathrooms with showers.
The Faith Community Nurse is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday to our guests for assistance with referrals to community resources in the areas of physical health, mental health, substance use treatment, employment, housing, veteran services and others. Opportunity House serves a hearty breakfast daily because we feel the assurance of a good breakfast makes mornings a little brighter. And because meals are so important, we also provide chef prepared lunches daily. That’s why our Food Pantry is open daily and provides Emergency Street Food and Weekend Survival Bags (non-perishables), snacks, and bottled water to all guests in need.
