Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital

The mission of Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital (HPH) is to provide intensive, short-term, inpatient diagnosis and treatment for mental illness to the citizens of thirteen counties of upstate South Carolina. The hospital utilizes a multi-discipline team approach for treatment planning, implementation, coordination of total care, and continuity of aftercare. These services are provided with the least amount of patient restriction and maximum opportunities for each person’s recovery. Patients are served on the basis of need and not on the ability to pay.
