Youth Literacy Program
The Rockbridge Regional Library provides a Youth Literacy Program to help open the door to reading for children in the Rockbridge area. Trained tutor/mentors work with elementary-age students who are struggling with reading. They find fun ways to encourage students’ interest in reading and help them improve their reading skills. Students are referred through their schools and participate in tutoring with the permission of their parents. All services are free of charge. See website for information about how to request a tutor for your child. Call the phone number listed here and dial extension 105.
