Criminal Justice Ministry (CJM)

The mission of Criminal Justice Ministry is to serve those impacted by the criminal justice system, not judge them. CJM provides Reentry Housing Programs, which provide year-long supportive housing and wrap-around services to the most vulnerable. Release to Rent houses men who have been incarcerated for ten years or more. The Release to Rent: Veterans program serves veterans with a history of criminal justice involvement.
In addition CJM offers access to a number of resources to clients who have been released from jails/prisons through the FIRST Services program. Those resources include a backpack filled with hygiene items and basic inner clothing. Plus Bus tickets, vouchers for state ID’s and/or birth certificates, emergency medicine, clothing and hygiene items, and referrals to services (e.g. employment agencies, food pantries, & legal assistance). Visit website for information to set up an appointment to apply for these services. Also available on the website is a link to resources on the St. Louis Reentry Resource Guide.
