Alexander County Post Overdose Response Team and Community Paramedic

Post Overdose Response Team and Community Paramedic (PORT) supports individuals experiencing substance use, justice involvement, homelessness, and co-occurring mental health challenges. We provide peer support, community paramedicine, post overdose response, nightly recovery groups, diversion and detention center reentry coordination, resource navigation, and school-based prevention and education.
