The Blue Ridge Piedmont Chapter serves a population of more than 935 thousand people within the counties of Alleghany, Alexander, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Lincoln, Watauga and Wilkes. The American Red Cross North Carolina Region, including the Blue Ridge Piedmont Chapter, provides disaster relief, blood donation services, health and safety training (CPR/first aid), services to the armed forces, and international humanitarian support.
