Central Carolina Hospital is a 137-bed acute care hospital serving the health care needs of Lee County and surrounding communities. With over 120 physicians and more than 450 employees, the hospital offers a wide range of specialties, including ophthalmology, cardiology, orthopedics and sports medicine, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, otolaryngology, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, hospitalist services, intensivists, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine and wound care. To be eligible for Financial Assistance, the patient is expected to have applied for and complied with all processes related to seeking assistance from other insurers and/or programs (including all potentially applicable governmental programs) as requested by Central Carolina Hospital staff.
