Durham Rescue Mission

The Durham Rescue Mission provides for hundreds of broken men, women and children of Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh, offering a solution to homelessness and addiction that goes beyond just meeting basic needs. The shelters provide safe shelter, three meals a day, clean clothing, Biblical counseling, financial planning, vocational training, GED education and employment assistance. See website for more information on Men and Women’s Division and other Shelter programs that are offered. Durham Rescue Mission (DRM), a nonprofit helping the homeless in North Carolina’s Triangle area, offers a wide variety of affordable, gently used goods through its multiple thrift stores, including clothing, furniture, electronics, home goods, books, and toys, with proceeds funding essential services like shelter, meals, and job training.
