Family Service of the Piedmont
Family Service of the Piedmont is a private, not-for-profit agency focused on building safe and healthy families in the Piedmont Triad addressing issues of domestic violence, child abuse, mental health, and financial stability. Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services are offered on a sliding fee scale with costs as low as $0 depending on income level. Medicaid is accepted. Temporary shelter in the agency’s two emergency domestic violence shelters are available for people who are escaping violent homes, sexual assault or human trafficking.
