Fathers on the Move is an innovative program that provides transitional services to males over the age of 16 who are involved in the criminal justice system and have children. They provide services to voluntary clients as well as those who are court ordered to attend. There is no charge to clients for program participation. Fathers on the Move is a 12 week support group that provides the skills and support needed for integration into mainstream society. Services include pre and post release services to coordinate housing for inmates and parolees reentering the community, resume building and job readiness skills, education regarding child support enforcement systems, parenting and communication skills, referrals to community services, and assistance navigating the criminal justice system.
