The Bremen Housing Authority owns and manages 80 units; Buchanan Housing Authority owns and manages 46 units; and the Tallapoosa Housing Authority owns and manages 211 apartments from efficiency apartments to four-bedroom apartments. Affordable housing is defined as rental or owner-occupied housing that costs at or less than 30 percent of one’s gross income.
