Lanier Technical College – Barrow Campus

The Lanier Technical College, a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia, serves as the foremost workforce development resource for Banks, Barrow, Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, Jackson, and Lumpkin counties by providing career-technical education programs, offered through traditional and distance delivery methods, leading to associate degrees, diplomas, and technical certificates of credit. Barrow County Adult Learning Center is part of Lanier Tech and provides free adult education classes for High School Equivalency, English as Second Language, and Citizenship classes. Each of the seven counties that serve Lanier Technical College has locations to help adult learners to become successful and confident in the workplace and society. These classes are free! High School Equivalency instruction includes basic literacy, reading, writing, social studies, science, and math – all of the items that are tested on the GED® and HiSET® exams.
