McDowell Mission Ministries

McDowell Mission Ministries operates two homeless shelters – one for women and children and one for men. Shelters provide hot baths, meals, and clean clothes. Please call in advance for shelter availability. Case management is provided to residents to get them back on their feet.

The McDowell Mission Ministries’ Crisis ministry provides food and financial assistance for rent/mortgage, utilities, heat fuel, prescriptions, and transportation.  Applications are taken on the first of each month.

McDowell Mission Ministries also operates a Resale Center thrift store open to those with basic needs.
