Scotland County Area Transit System

The Scotland County Area Transit System(SCATS) is a county operated transportation system designed and operated to provide curb to curb transportation to those with transportation and/or mobility needs. SCATS operates mini-vans and lift equipped handicap accessible buses.
SCATS transports individuals, by appointment, to doctor’s offices, clinics, dialysis, physical therapy and pharmacies. SCATS also transports clients to employment, workshops, appointments, nutrition sites, shopping and various other services. All SCATS transportation is free of cost and services are fully accessible for people with disabilities. See website for information about routes, schedules, and other information.
