Scotland County Register of Deeds

The Register of Deeds office serves as the custodian for various public records by recording and preserving deeds, deeds of trust, powers of attorney, plats and various other legal documents. We also record and issue birth and death certificates, marriage licenses and records military discharges. We are here to serve the public and maintain Scotland County’s most important public records.
