Shelton State Community College
The Shelton State Community College Adult Education Program provides services to Bibb and Tuscaloosa counties. The Adult Education Program provides classes at no cost to the student on-site at the College campuses, local one-stop career centers, day reporting centers, partnerships with K-12 schools, and correctional facilities. Adult education classes are offered morning, afternoon, night, virtual, online, and hybrid learning to prepare for the GED, co-enroll in a Career Pathway course, earn a Workplace Success credential to obtain a CDL permit, NorthStar Digital Literacy Certificates, increase English language proficiency, and/or complete a non-traditional high school diploma.
