Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter (SAS)

Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter’s (SAS) mission is to prevent homelessness by providing supportive services to enable our clients to achieve independence. SAS provides temporary financial rental assistance through grant funded housing programs.  To receive assistance, clients must document a crisis beyond their control, be within HUD provided income limits, and meet Fair Market Rent limits.  In partnership with the Salvation Army, SAS administers Utility Assistance to Shenandoah County Residents who have a disconnection notice for electric, water, and heat source bills.
