Shenandoah County Office of General Registrar (Elections)

The mission of the Office of the General Registrar is to provide opportunities for all the qualified citizens of Shenandoah County to register to vote; to promote integrity of the electoral process by maintaining accurate and current voter registration records used in elections; to coordinate elections so they are conducted in a manner that secures the qualified citizen’s right to vote; to ensure that the election results accurately reflect the voter’s will; to be an information resource for citizens and candidates regarding voter registration, elections, and elected officials; and to conduct these activities in accordance with the election laws of the United States Constitution and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
