St. Joseph Charities

St. Joseph Charities assists our parishioners and others in our community who have emergency financial needs.  We serve Clarke, Oconee, Jackson, Madison and Oglethorpe counties and work by appointment only. Our service is run by a staff of volunteers, so our hours are limited. The Charities office accepts calls Mondays only and processes requests on Wednesday and Thursday. Clients are interviewed and if eligible, will work with a trained volunteer to determine possible assistance with rent/mortgage or non-narcotic prescriptions. All clients leave with a plan in place to try to resolve their financial problems in the future.
