Step Up Ministry

StepUp Ministry in NC is a network of non-profits, primarily based in Raleigh (founded 1988), that empower adults and children in economic hardship to achieve stable, self-sufficient lives through intensive job skills training, life skills workshops (financial literacy, personal responsibility), mentorship, and children’s programs, helping thousands break cycles of poverty and transform their futures through employment and community support. They serve veterans, ex-offenders, the homeless, and low-income individuals, offering a holistic approach with programs like “Real World” for teens and ongoing support for alumni.
