Virginia Housing

Virginia Housing was created to help Virginians attain quality, affordable housing. Among the many services offered are providing mortgages for first-time homebuyers, free homebuyer classes, assisting people with disabilities make their homes more livable. Virginia Housing also administers the Housing Choice Voucher and Housing Credit programs in Virginia. See website and click on Individuals & Families, then select Renters, and then Housing Choice Voucher Program from the menu at the top of the page.
