Franklin County Office of Aging – Senior Programs

The Franklin County Office of Aging Services Advisory Commission shall be to function as an advisory body to the for Essig Recreation Center is the home to many of the senior activities and is open Monday through Friday, excluding holidays or days of inclement weather. The social activities offered at the Center provide persons 50 years and older, opportunities to participate in constructive social experiences and leisure time activities including educational programs, active programs, special events and day trips. The Office on Aging provides medical transportation primarily to individuals over 60 years of age that are wheelchair bound or that have no other means of transportation. Transportation services are based on income of the entire household and federal guidelines for fee rates. We do not bill insurance companies.
