Grassroots Crisis Intervention

Grassroots Crisis Intervention offers 24-hour crisis intervention services via a hotline, and a physical crisis center in Columbia, MD for walk-in counseling and services like homeless support and substance use screening. Grassroots Day Resource Center provides hot meals, showers, laundry and pantry. While their physical location is not in Ellicott City, MD, they provide services to the wider community, including Howard County, and can assist with issues such as suicide, domestic violence, substance dependency, and homelessness. An on-call VA representative to assist any homeless Vets who come to the center. See website for more information.
