Vaya Health
We coordinate (do not provide ourselves) Mental Health (MH), Substance Use (SU), Intellectual/Developmental Disability (IDD), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) services for people with Medicaid with significant behavioral health challenges in our counties, including Stokes. We also coordinate (do not provide) Mental Health (MH), Substance Use (SU), Intellectual/Developmental Disability (IDD), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) services for the uninsured and underinsured in the counties we serve, including Stokes County. To do so, we partner/contract with healthcare providers who in turn provide direct services themselves (ex. counseling, etc). We have a number of departments where Vaya staff have a specific focus ex Network Development–identifying new behavioral health services and providers for our counties, System of Care–youth and families involved with different systems like DSS and DJJ, Learning and Development which provides quality trainings to our communities, Care Management, and others.
